DDL NEEDS YOU!

The Democracy Defense League is a membership funded organization.  We have NO PAID STAFF.  Contributions from members will determine whether the DDL will accomplish the goal of fair and honest elections in Alabama.  These contributions will be necessary to reach the larger media markets through advertising across the state of Alabama.  Donations also help pay for office supplies, equipment, and basic operating costs.

Your donation, no matter the size, is greatly needed and appreciated.  You may send your donation to the Democracy Defense League, P. O. Box 204, Greensboro, Alabama, 36744. Please make checks payable to the Democracy Defense League.

If you have any questions about the DDL expenditures, please contact Secretary/Treasurer Joann McGahey @ 205-371-2420 or via email:  jmcgahey@mound.net

Please donate today and help us fight voter fraud!

Why should you join the Democracy Defense League?

  • As you read this, our American men and women are fighting to help ensure a fair voting process in Iraq.  Should we not then strive to guarantee that our own elections are fair and honest at home?

  • Corrupt elections anywhere produce corrupt government everywhere. Elections in every district send representatives to Montgomery who then are in the position to affect state law, which affects YOU.  Honest elections are the concerns of every citizen.

  • State law governs all state and local referendums.  The state laws that govern voting in the Black Belt region are the very same laws that govern voting in Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile, and Orange Beach.

  • If elected officials will use corrupt means to gain office in local elections, will they not continue the same corrupt practices when in that office?

  • We can not rely on our elected state officials to rectify the voter fraud problem.  It is going to take public demand which is best utilized through citizen-held, grassroots organizations like the DDL.

  • Membership is our most important asset!  The more members we have the more effective we will be with our legislators. They will not do anything that is not easy!

  • Membership is free and open to all registered voters in and citizens of the state of Alabama.  Let your voice be heard!

  • "Evil flourishes when good people do nothing."  Without your support, nothing will change.

You may print the membership application and mail it directly to the Democracy Defense League, P. O. Box 204, Greensboro, Alabama 36744, by clicking the link.

Or you may apply for membership online via email.

All information submitted to the DDL for membership application will be kept strictly confidential.  The DDL will never distribute or sell your information to any other organization or company.

Thank you for joining the DDL!
